BYK® -3400

BYK® -3400 by BYK is a silicone-containing substrate wetting agent for adhesives. It reduces the surface tension in aqueous adhesive systems. It only marginally, if at all, stabilizes foam. It is aqueous solution of a modified succinic acid and polyether-modified siloxane suitable for sealants. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-2% based upon total formulation. BYK® -3400 has a shelf life of 24 months.
