BYK® -348

BYK® -348 by BYK is a surfactant based on polyether modified siloxane. It produces a significant decrease in the surface tension of aqueous adhesives and therefore improves substrate wetting. It does not increase the surface slip and only marginally, if at all, stabilizes foam.

• It is particularly suitable for adhesive systems that do not contain co-solvents.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.05 to 0.5% based upon total formulation.
• BYK® -348 has a shelf life of 60 months.
