BYK® -P 2710

BYK® -P 2710 by BYK acts as a processing additive for adjusting the viscosity in epoxy resin applications for adhesives and sealants in which hydrophilic fumed silicas are used. It blocks the build-up of the silica network, which prevents a large increase in initial viscosity.

• It must be combined with BYK®-P 2720 (added to hardener) to achieve a high application viscosity.
• It exhibits high anti-sagging properties which enable the system to be applied above the head or on vertical surfaces without it sagging or dropping.
• Recommended dosage level of BYK® -P 2710 is 50 to 100%.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
