Preventol® BIT 20 D

Preventol® BIT 20 D by LANXESS is a water-based, in-can preservative based on benzisothiazolinone. It is used for VOC-free aqueous synthetic adhesives. This aqueous dispersion of biocidal ingredients offers broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, mold fungi and yeasts. Preventol® BIT 20 D displays high alkaline stability and can be used at very high pH values (>10). It shows outstanding thermal stability combined with low volatility. This additive is organic solvents-, VOC components-, formaldehyde- and halogen-free. It possesses good chemical stability and can be used in wide temperature range. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
