Preventol® D 7 by LANXESS is a preservative for solutions and dispersions of adhesives. It is a liquid formulation of isothiazolinones. This additive possesses low acute toxicity. It offers a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria including formaldehyde-resistant species, fungi, yeast and algae. It is stable over the pH range of 2.5 to 9.0. The shelf life of Preventol® D 7 is one year.
