GUARD DOG™ UV622 by M Chemical is poly-(N-ß-hydroxyethyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-hydroxy-piperidyl-succinate). Acts as a UV light stabilizer. It is free-flowing. Protects polymers against degradation caused by exposure to UV radiation. Offers easy dispersion, low volatility, minimal surface migration and long-term heat stability. It has low melting range. Demonstrates reduced interaction with co-additives such as pigments or other stabilizers. Shows strong synergistic performance when used in combination with other GUARD DOG™ UV absorbers, hindered amine based light stabilizers and antioxidant products. GUARD DOG™ UV622 is compatible with PE, PP, SAN, ASA, SBS, PS, PU, PA, unsaturated polyesters, polyacetals and elastomers. Recommended for films. General loading concentrations range between 0.1-1.2% depending upon the substrate, application and performance requirements. In PE agricultural films, the recommended dosage is between 0.30 – 0.60%.
