GUARD DOG™ UV622

Poly-(N-β-hydroxyethyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-hydroxy-piperidyl-succinate). Acts as a UV light stabilizer. It is free-flowing. Protects polymers against degradation caused by exposure to UV radiation. Offers easy dispersion, low volatility, minimal surface migration and long-term heat stability. It has low melting range. Demonstrates reduced interaction with co-additives such as pigments or other stabilizers. Shows strong synergistic performance when used in combination with other GUARD DOG™ UV absorbers, hindered amine based light stabilizers and antioxidant products. Compatible with PE, PP, SAN, ASA, SBS, PS, PU, PA, unsaturated polyesters, polyacetals and elastomers. Recommended for films. General loading concentrations range between 0.1-1.2% depending upon the substrate, application and performance requirements. In PE agricultural films, the recommended dosage is between 0.30 – 0.60%.
